Information about personal data processing when using MeetWerk.
Information pursuant to Art. 13, 14 GDPR
Protecting your personal data is important to WerkConnect Berlin. Below we inform you which data is processed when you visit this website (meetwerk.de) and when you contact us, and which rights you have under the GDPR. Note: this website does not use third-party analytics or tracking services.
1. Controller
WerkConnect Berlin – IT-Dienstleistungen, owner Georgios Tassoúlas, Heilbronner Strasse 1, 10779 Berlin. Phone: 030 367 469 74. Email: support@meetwerk.de. A data protection officer has not been appointed at this time.
2. Provision of the website and server log files
When you access this website your browser automatically transmits information to our server, stored temporarily in log files: IP address, date and time of access, file requested, volume of data transferred, browser and operating system and, where applicable, the referrer URL. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (technical provision, system security, stability). Log data is deleted or anonymised as soon as it is no longer required.
3. Cookies and sessions
This website uses only technically necessary cookies (e.g. session control, security, language and cookie choice) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Cookies that are not technically necessary (analytics, marketing) are only used after prior consent pursuant to Sec. 25 (1) TDDDG. In the current version no such services are used.
4. Contact form
When you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide (name, email, optionally company and the content of your enquiry) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b and lit. f GDPR. Data is stored only for as long as necessary to handle the request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Video conferencing (MeetWerk)
The actual video conferencing application is operated separately at app.meetwerk.de. This marketing website itself does not transmit any audio, video or screen data. For video conferences, short-lived access tokens are generated exclusively server-side; audio, video, screen and data channels run via the LiveKit infrastructure in use. Details of processing during meeting operation (region, data processing agreements, retention) are documented within the application and towards the respective customers.
6. Email delivery (SMTP)
To send contact and system emails we use an SMTP service. The data required for delivery (sender, recipient, subject, content) is processed. Where required, this takes place under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
7. Disclosure to third parties
Personal data is only transferred to third parties where this is necessary to perform a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so, where you have consented or where a legitimate interest exists. Typical recipients are hosting and data centre providers as well as IT service providers. Transfers to third countries do not take place as a rule.
8. Storage period
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Thereafter the data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
You have the rights to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). To exercise them contact support@meetwerk.de. The competent supervisory authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin. No automated decision-making including profiling takes place.
10. Data security
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by „https://“ and the padlock symbol in your browser. In addition we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration or unauthorised access.
11. Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements and changes to our services. As of: 25.08.2026.
